Segue Software Enhances SilkPilot

Other Posts

Segue Software has released a new version of SilkPilot. SilkPilot 2.1 enables careful evaluation of the performance of e-business applications that are based upon multiple disparate middleware platforms. SilkPilot 2.1 tests applications that are based on leading middleware standards and technologies, including EJB, Java/RMI, and CORBA. As new middleware technologies are introduced and adopted, software developers find it increasingly difficult and time consuming to ensure that servers and databases accurately interact with user interfaces and e-business applications. Automating the functional verification of applications based on complex middleware technologies saves businesses considerable time versus the costly error-prone alternative of writing test drivers by hand. “SilkPilot, a key component of our eConfidence solution, allows developers to thoroughly review their software to eliminate bugs and anticipate potential problems caused when disparate systems are integrated,” said Todd Scallan, vice president, California development laboratory, Segue Software. “The new features of SilkPilot 2.1 reinforce our dedication to providing the most complete set of tools for ensuring e-business reliability.”
