NEON Systems has unveiled iWave eBusiness Server, which provides trading partner management and e-commerce infrastructures. It verifies trading activity and identification of trading partners, defines trading partner roles, administers trading rules, secures trading activity, and records the flow, state, and completion of transactions.

This announcement was effected by an OEM agreement with EcomXML, which provides software based on open technology standards to achieve inter and intra-company integration, regardless of existing technology infrastructure.

“Organizations today are seeking an integrated e-business integration solution so they can rapidly deploy a fully functional e-market. The synergy between EcomXML and NEON Systems products and technologies delivers the most comprehensive and rapid solution for today’s competitive e-business market,” said John Vigna, president and CEO of EcomXML.

iWave eBusiness Server is built for secure, seamless trading on the Internet. This includes the support of, and translation between a variety of XML schemas and legacy EDI, as well as support for emerging B2B frameworks such as RosettaNet and BizTalk. iWave eBusiness Server is built to be open and extensible to rapidly support additional B2B communication standards as they are adopted.

In order to support a growing base of trading partners, iWave eBusiness Server employs a loosely coupled architecture that provides maximum integration flexibility. Integration paths are determined based upon business process rules and controlled by an integrated workflow engine. Security is handled at the most sophisticated levels with non-repudiation of origin (NRO) and patent-pending non-repudiation of receipt (NRR). Additionally, the highest-level security protocols and standards are supported including X.509, S/MIME, MDN, and SSL.
